Maurice Jones-Drew has returned to the Jacksonville Jaguars, ending his holdout after 38 days, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Jones-Drew missed all of the Jaguars' off-season work, training camp and the preseason, unhappy with his contract that still has two years to run at $9.4 million.

But Jones-Drew has decided to report rather than miss game checks if he had extended the holdout into the regular season. For now, the Jaguars have named Rashad Jennings their starting running back, as MJD has no experience with the new offensive system installed by new coach Mike Mularkey and his staff.
