Jaguars running back was said to have been fined $800,000 for missing camp. Terry McCormick
Maurice Jones-Drew said a report that his training camp fines had been reduced to $800,000 for his 38-day holdout is false, according to the Florida Times-Union.
Multiple reports over the weekend said the fine had been lowered to that amount. MDJ could have been fined up to $30,000 maximum for failing to report to training camp.
Jones-Drew insisted to local media that the report was inaccurate, saying, "Make sure you guys report that was false."
