Much like current NFL tight ends and former two-sport athletes Tony Gonzalez, Antonio Gates and Jimmy Graham, Jordan Cameron is hoping his basketball skills crossover to the gridiron.
ICONCameron currently sits at No. 2 in the NFP tight end rankings.
The Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers could be thinking the same thing, as both teams are set to host Cameron later this week, per a source close to the former USC tight end.
The 22-year-old from Newbury Park, California transferred to USC as a sophomore in 2008, appeared in five games during the 2009 season and went on to catch 16 passes for 126 yards and a touchdown in 11 games as a senior in 2010.
Cameron also appeared in three games for the USC basketball team during the 2008-2009 season.
At 6-5, 254 pounds with a 40-yard dash time of 4.56, Cameron already has one prominent endorser who thinks he should land in the first round.
