There's been a lot of confident talk from receivers this offseason.
Add Julio Jones to the mix, who has now proclaimed that he and Roddy White make up the NFL's best receiver duo in the league.
"When you step on the field, you should feel that you're the best, you and whoever your partner is," Jones told ESPN.com. "I feel like me and Roddy, we're the best when we step on the field. We take it as a challenge every year: We want to go out and show everybody we're the best one-two in the league."
This follows Alshon Jeffery's claim that he and Brandon Marshall are the best. Redskins receiver Pierre Garcon also made comments recently about he and DeSean Jackson emerging as the league's best duo.
This time a year ago, it would have been hard to disagree with Jones' assertion, though. He and White were a big reason why the Falcons were able to advance to the NFC Championship, where they fell to the San Francisco 49ers in a thriller.
In that 2012 season, Jones totaled 1,198 yards and 10 touchdowns, with White recording 1,351 yards and seven touchdowns.
Both will look to get back to that level in 2014.
