The San Diego Chargers have agreed to a two-year contract with veteran backup Kellen Clemens.

Clemens played for the St. Louis Rams and New York Jets previously.

Meanwhile, the backup quarterback market continued to move.

Charlie Whitehurst left the Chargers and rejoined his former offensive coordinator, Ken Whisenhunt, the new Titans coach, in Tennessee.
