Khan purchases English soccer team

Shahid Khan has completed his purchase of the Fulham soccer team, per the Florida Times-Union.

Khan, owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars, has added the English soccer club to his stable, something that had been in the works for a while.

The Jaguars are already committed to playing a game each year in London for four years, and now Khan has an added attraction that will be in England on a more every-day basis.

In making the purchase of the soccer team, Khan told Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union, ""I do not view myself so much as the owner of Fulham, but a custodian of the club on behalf of its fans."
