Following a bounce-back season in Denver, running back Knowshon Moreno hasn't had the greatest spring with his new team: the Miami Dolphins.
But it looks like that can be explained now. Moreno, according to a report from the Orlando Sun Sentinel, has been dealing with a health-related issue that has slowed him down some. This would explain sub-par outings during OTAs and why he was barely used during minicamp practices.
Moreno signed a one-year deal worth $3 million with the Dolphins this offseason, which is quite cheap considering the season the former Georgia Bulldogs running back had a year ago. In 2013, Moreno ran for 1,038 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also had 548 receiving yards with three more touchdowns in the passing game.
