After seeing quarterback Matt Schaub throw a pick six for the fourth straight game, Houston Texans coach Gary Kubiak stated that he will stick with the struggling signal-caller, but did leave himself an out, if necessary.
Kubiak benched Schaub in the Texans' 34-3 thrashing at San Francisco Sunday night after three more interceptions, allowing second-stringer T.J. Yates to mop up.
“He is, but I’m in the evaluation process,” Kubiak told the Houston Chronicle when asked if Schaub was still the Texans' starter.
It marked Houston's third straight loss and dropped them to 2-3, marking the first time the Texans have had a losing record since 2010.
