Kyle Williams rips into Bills defense

Kyle Williams has apparently had enough of the Buffalo Bills defensive shortcomings.

The Bills gave up the winning touchdown with 1:03 to play when Matt Hasselbeck found Nate Washington for 15 yards on a fourth-and-9 play, helping the Tennessee Titans to a 35-34 victory. The Bills defensive tackle even questioned the talent of the Buffalo defense.

"You're not very talented if you're doing what we've been doing, OK?," Williams said to the Buffalo News. "I've said it from the very beginning when we were at training camp. Talent doesn't matter. It doesn't matter what things look like on paper, what you say. 'We're going to be good because look at this sheet of paper.' That doesn't matter.

"It matters if you're playing fast, you play physical, you play together. It's everybody on defense. It starts up front, it works its way around."

Sounds like Williams is as frustrated as a lot of Bills fans are about a team where defense was supposed to be its calling card. Yet it entered Sunday's game allowing more points than all but one team - the Titans, who managed to eke out the win with a last-minute TD against the Buffalo defense.
