The Tigers hold 22 commitments in the current cycle. Dave Miller
Rashard Robinson, a top athlete who had scholarship offers from major powers such as Arkansas, Florida State, Miami (Fla.) and Oklahoma, committed Tuesday to play for LSU.
The Blanche Ely High School (Pompano Beach, Fla.) product, who was also recruited by Alabama, Florida and Ohio State, became the 22nd commitment in LSU's 2013 class, which is currently in the Top 15 of all hauls nationally. Robinson attends the same high school as former Tiger and current Arizona Cardinal Patrick Peterson.
The 6-2, 161-pounder was recruited by Les Miles and Co. to be a cornerback in Baton Rouge, and he will put his 4.4 speed and 35-inch vertical jump to good use against some of the high-powered SEC passing attacks when he arrives on campus in 2013.
