LT offers Tebow low brow advice

New York Giants Hall of Fame linebacker, given his checkered past, probably shouldn't even offering Tim Tebow off the field advice, even in a parody.

But Taylor did on Showtime's "Inside the NFL" on Wednesday night in a segment called "Dear Insiders," a tongue-in-cheek look around the league, according to USA Today.com.

Host James Brown asked this made-up question to Taylor: "(Dear Lawrence,) Like you, I'm a clean-living, hard-hitting, good ol' southern boy trying to make it in The Big Apple. What was the secret to your success? Thanks in advance, (signed) Tim from the Meadowlands."

Taylor, appearing as a guest on the show, said Tebow should try sex. Tebow, a devout Christian, has said he will remain a virgin until he marries.

"I would say he would have to go to church, Temple -- wherever he goes -- find a nice girl," said Taylor, who added other colorful language. "I mean marry her if he has to ... but he's got to get some of that pressure off."

It may have been done as a joke, but perhaps Taylor, who pleaded guilty to sex with an underage prostitute in 2010, should seek Tebow's advice - not the other way around.
