Lawrence Taylor Jr., the son of the Hall of Fame New York Giants linebacker, has been arrested and charged with statutory rape and two other crimes.

Taylor Jr. was arrested in Georgia on Sunday, according to the New York Daily News, and was also charged with sodomy and child molestation. His father faced rape charges after his encounter with an underage hooker in 2010 in New York. The father is a registered sex offender and is on probation still.

Taylor Jr., 31, remains in jail in Powder Springs, Ga., not far from Atlanta. He reportedly performed oral sex on a girl under 18 at his home on Saturday. A girl that police say is under 16 also told police she had sex with Taylor Jr. five or six times more than a year ago.

Last year, Taylor Jr. auctioned off his father’s Super Bowl XXV ring. If he still has money from that, perhaps he’ll put it toward a defense fund.
