Cornerback was ordered to pay $11.6 million in civil lawsuit from triple shooting. Terry McCormick
Tom Urbanski, who was paralyzed from the waist down as a result of the 2007 triple-shooting stemming from Pacman Jones' melee in a strip club, has a message for the Cincinnati Bengals cornerback.
Urbanski was awarded $9 million of the $11.6 million Jones was ordered to pay as part of a civil lawsuit told Fox-5 in Las Vegas that Jones, who makes $950,000 in base salary with the Bengals had "Better start working, maybe get a second job like most of the United States does. If he makes a dime, we're going after it."
Urbanski called the ruling that Jones' attorney plans to appeal "a little bit of justice that's long overdue."
Jones eventually pleaded no contest to misdemeanor conspiracy to commit disorderly conduct as a part of the incident in the Minxx Gentlemen's Club. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell suspended Jones, then with the Tennessee Titans, for the entire 2007 season in part because of that incident and an accumulation of incidents at the time.
