Detroit Lions safety Louis Delmas found out when he got his paycheck that he had been fined $5,000 by the NFL for not wearing the correct color of socks.
Delmas wore blue and orange socks in the Lions' loss against Arizona last week, but the Lions are only allowed to wear blue and white or solid blue. So how did Delmas find out he'd been fined?
"When you get the damn check," Delmas told MLive.com.
Teammate Isreal Idonjie was also fined $15,750 for a roughing the passer penalty.
