The defensive linemen for the Detroit Lions are watching game film in style now.
Someone has outfitted the positional meeting room with leather recliners, much more comfortable than the office chairs that were there previously.
Carlos Monarrez of the Detroit Free Press reports all signs indicate tackle Ndamukong Suh is behind the move. Suh has had a red recliner – think Nebraska Cornhuskers red – since he arrived as the club’s first-round draft pick.
"Might have been," defensive end Cliff Avril told Monarrez. "You might have to ask that person. I know, me, I didn't buy them. I'm glad we got them, though.
"The O-linemen have had them for the last friggin' six years. And I guess we decided we wanted to be like them a little bit and get some comfortable chairs because we're sitting in those hard chairs. Everybody else had the comfy chairs."
