Lions hire Ron Prince as assistant head coach

Prince will also coach tight ends Aaron Wilson

The Detroit Lions have hired Rutgers offensive coordinator Ron Prince as assistant head coach-tight ends coach.

Prince and Caldwell worked together with the Indianapolis Colts previously.

Prince is a former Kansas State head coach who has been an assistant line coach for the Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Lions have retained offensive line coach Jeremiah Washburn and are shifting tight ends coach Bobby Johnson to assistant line coach.
