Lions make six cuts

The Detroit Lions trimmed their roster by six players, inching toward the 75 players they need to be at by Tuesday.

The Lions announces that running back Steven Miller, receiver Conner Vernon, offensive tackle A.J. Dalton, offensive guard Alex Bullard, defensive end Kris Redding and defensive tackle Gregory Hickman were released.

This followed the Lions cutting cornerback Drayton Florence earlier this past week.

The Lions are now down to 82 players on their roster.
