QB's non-throwing shoulder passes test, as he will split reps in practice this week. Terry McCormick
Jake Locker has been cleared for contact and may be on track to practice and start this week for the Tennessee Titans.
Titans coach Mike Munchak made the announcement on his weekly radio show, according to TitanInsider.com, which had first reported Monday that Locker was on the verge of being cleared for contact.
Locker is expected to split reps with Matt Hasselbeck this week, and if all goes well, he could start Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. Locker has been out since separating and fracturing a bone in his left shoulder week four in Houston.
