London Fletcher had made the Pro Bowl after all.
The Washington Redskins announced that Fletcher will participate in the all-star game for the third consecutive year. He was an alternate and has been informed he’ll get to make the trip after leading the team and NFL in tackles with 166, according to NFL GSIS.
It’s the third consecutive Pro Bowl honor for Fletcher, who has shown no signs of slowing down. It marks the 19th consecutive year the Redskins have placed a player in the Pro Bowl.
There was no announcement as to who Fletcher is replacing. However, it is known that Chicago Bears middle linebacker Brian Urlacher will miss the game after suffering a knee sprain in Week 17.
