The thought that Robert Griffin III could somehow leapfrog Andrew Luck into being the No. 1 overall pick by the Indianapolis Colts is a foolish notion says Bob Kravitz of the Indianapolis Star.

In fact, Kravitz guarantees that Luck, who will have a private workout for the Colts, is the team's pick, as has been speculated since the end of the season when Indy finished with the dreadful 2-14 mark to secure the top overall choice later this month.

George Whitfield, Jr., who has tutored Luck, says if the Colts take Griffin, whose considerable upside cannot be ignored, over Luck, then they will regret the decision for a long time.

"If they over-think this, they're going to make a mistake they'll regret for years,'' Whitfield said.
