Veteran guard to fill in for injured Leroy Harris. Terry McCormick
Veteran guard Deuce Lutui, signed by the Tennessee Titans in week two, will see his first action of the year and make his first start on Sunday, according to TitanInsider.
Veteran guard Leroy Harris is out with a knee injury, and Lutui gets the call to replace him after being inactive for seven straight games.
Harris isn't Tennessee's only injured offensive lineman. Left tackle Michael Roos is probable after missing last week following an appendectomy. Right tackle David Stewart is questionable because of a knee injury, and center Fernando Velasco is probable following concussion-like symptoms.
The Titans have picked a terrible week to have their line banged up as the vaunted Chicago Bears defense comes to LP Field.
It seems like it is one of the more beat up ones since I've been around,” Roos said. “We have 10 o-line guys now. I don't ever remember having that many. Hopefully, we can make it through and get some guys back next week.”
