Rookie safety expected to compete for immediate playing time Aaron Wilson
Chicago Bears third-round safety Major Wright's four-year contract carries a total maximum value of $3.368 million, according to a league source.
That package includes $845,000 in total guaranteed money and a fourth-year escalator clause for the former University of Florida standout.
Wright is the final member of the Bears' rookie draft class to agree to terms, making the NFC North franchise the first team to finish signing all of its draft picks.
Wright was selected 75th overall and is slated to compete for immediate playing time at free safety.
For the Gators, Wright registered 165 career tackles, eight interceptions and four forced fumbles.
