The New England Patriots placed six players on the PUP list, according to the Boston Globe, including offensive linemen Logan Mankins and Sebastian Vollmer.
Mankins tore his ACL in the Super Bowl, as did tight end Jake Ballard, who was then a member of the Giants, but claimed off waivers by New England. Vollmer had a procedure on his back.
In addition to those three, tight end Daniel Fells, defensive lineman Myron Pryor and linebacker Brandon Spikes were placed on active/PUP. Wide receiver Jeremy Ebert was placed on the list last week.
Players on active PUP can be activated at any time and count against the 90-man roster.
