Peyton Manning admits he really isn't thinking about his long-term legacy with the Denver Broncos, so much as he is thinking about the 2012 season.

He even admits there is a chance it could be the only one he has with the Broncos, given that he must pass a physical in 2013 to guarantee two more years of the five-year deal he signed in this off-season.

"End of the day, my contract really is only a one-year contract," Manning told the Denver Post. "That is the fact of the matter, so I think you do play with a sense of urgency,"

After four neck procedures in his career and having missed all of last year because of neck problems, Manning is wise to take things just one season at a time.
