Record crowd shows up to watch Broncos' scrimmage Terry McCormick
Manning-mania has quickly replaced Tebow-mania in Denver as 41,304 Broncos fans showed up to the team's Saturday scrimmage to get a glimpse of Peyton Manning.
"It really felt like a game atmosphere," Manning told the Denver Post in his first on-field action since the 2010 playoffs.
Manning, of course, missed all of last season with a neck injury and was released by the Indianapolis Colts.
After a slow start on his first few snaps, Manning made quick work of the Broncos' second-team defense during his time on the field with the first-team offense, firing a 9-yard TD to Eric Decker.
