The Buffalo Bills lost starting quarterback E.J. Manuel in Thursday night's game after he took a shot to his right knee on a scramble against the Cleveland Browns.

Manuel, the team's first-round pick, tried to jog on the sideline and ride the stationary bike, but he eventually went to the locker room to be further evaluated.

In his place came another rookie, undrafted Jeff Tuel, whose night ended badly with a pick six throw to Cleveland's T.J. Ward that turned a six-point deficit into a 37-24 loss.

The Bills have to hope that Manuel's injury won't keep him out of the lineup too long, because it was very clear Thursday night that Tuel is very green right now.
