Troubled Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Marcell Dareus has been scheduled for a September trial stemming from a car accident police officers allege happened during a street race.
Dareus has a Sept. 9 nonjury trial on a charge of misdemeanor reckless endangerment after crashing his Jaguar into a tree in May while racing a teammate.
Dareus was arrested in April in Alabama and charged with felony drug charges.
He's applied for pretrial diversion in that case.
Dareus could be facing a potential suspension.
