The San Francisco 49ers placed running back Marcus Lattimore and several other players on the non-football injury list to start training camp.

They can be activated from the list at any time.

Lattimore spent his rookie season on injured reserve after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament during his final season at South Carolina.

The 49ers also placed rookie offensive tackle Brandon Thomas on the list. He tore his ACL before the draft working out for the New Orleans Saints.

The others on the list include wide receiver Bruce Ellington, a rookie from South Carolina, rookie center Marcus Martin, defensive back Keith Reaser and running back Trey Millard.

Rookie outside linebacker Aaron Lynch and rookie defensive tackle Kaleb Ramsey were placed on the physically unable to perform list.
