Player confirms ESPN report that Bills denied earlier. Terry McCormick
Buffalo Bills defensive end Mario Williams confirmed Wednesday that he played the first seven games of the season with a slight tear in his wrist, according to the Buffalo News.
"As far as I know. I don't really know all the lingo. I just wanted to get it done, whatever needed to be done. I don't know as far as exact terminology of it being torn. I've heard that myself, but I just know something was wrong," Williams said.
Two days before, ESPN had reported that Williams had such an injury, but Bills coach Chan Gailey disavowed any knowledge of that.
