The Georgia Bulldogs should feature one of the top backfields in the country, with Todd Gurley and Keith Marshall as a one-two bunch at running back.
Just don't expect that to last longer than this season. Speaking to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Richt, asked about whether the Bulldogs could recruit another top running back for the 2015 class, said it shouldn't be much of a problem due to the likelihood of where Gurley and Marshall will be after this season.
“What are the chances of Gurley staying around a long time? You know, (and) Keith Marshall for that matter?" Richt said. "You know, if you only have three running backs on campus, and you take two out of there … That’s not enough. The kids know that.”
That seems to be an endorsement for the running backs to take their talents to the next level. And if Gurley puts in the kind of season that sets him up for national awards, then he should probably put his name in the hat for the NFL.
Depending on what kind of season Marshall has — though he's coming off of an ACL tear — he fits in the same boat.
