Mark Sanchez had minor knee surgery

New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez underwent minor knee surgery at the same time he had his shoulde repaired, according to the New York Post.

The surgery was regarded as successful.

Sanchez also had hsi labrum repaired in October.

He has started light throwing.

Sanchez isn't expected to return due to Geno Smith being the starter and Sanchez's $13.1 million salary-cap figure.
