Former St. Louis Rams coach Mike Martz is interested in the Chicago Bears' offensive coordinator position.
Martz, who was the coordinator for the Rams' "Greatest Show on Turf" offense that turned Kurt Warner into an MVP and won a Super Bowl, said Tuesday he has not been contacted by the Bears but won't campaign for the job.
"Absolutely, of course I would [be interested]," Martz said. "But I've never talked to anybody or been contacted by anybody.
"It would be unfair to [Bears coach Lovie Smith] to jump ahead in any process and be involved in it. We'll just wait and see whether things develop."
