QB puts up big numbers and sets a franchise record in the Packers' win against the Detroit Lions. National Football Post
With Aaron Rodgers resting for the playoffs, Matt Flynn started for the Packers in Sunday’s matchup against the Detroit Lions. He finished the day completing 31 of 44 passes for 480 yards and six touchdowns, a franchise record.
Flynn is the only other quarterback to start for the Packers besides Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers in the last 20 years. He put up numbers better than either quarterback in more than 300 combined starts.
