Matthew Stafford has been making the media rounds in Indianapolis and he’s there for a Celebrity Beach Bowl in which he’s going to do a little coaching.

Patrick asked him if Kate Upton will be a top draft pick and Stafford hemmed and hawed a little bit before revealing that he is in love. That’s when Patrick struck and asked the Detroit Lions quarterback if he’s fixing to get engaged soon.

“Not anytime soon,” Stafford replied.

That’s when Patrick put him on the spot and asked what comes first – an engagement ring for his girlfriend or a Super Bowl rin.

“Oh, my gosh, this guy,” Stafford said. “Hopefully, Super Bowl ring. Hopefully, Super Bowl ring.”

That answer should keep Lions fans happy, especially if he can deliver.
