As one of the Tennessee Titans defensive captains, Jason McCourty is not happy with the team's performance this season, nor should be be.

The Titans are still on a pace to allow a record 544 points, giving up 238 through seven games or 34 per contest.

Asked if those numbers bother him, McCourty replied to TitanInsider.com, “Damn right, it does. That’s not what we practice all week for. That’s not our intent.”

McCourty blamed mostly missed tackles for the Titans problems, though missed assignment have been a culprit too, as the team tries to figure out to fix what has mostly been a season-long problem in Tennessee.
