QB insists he likes it in Cleveland and wants to stay and start. Terry McCormick
Brandon Weeden may be the new flavor in Cleveland, but Colt McCoy insists he still wants the opportunity to stay and compete for the Browns starting quarterback role that was his last year.
McCoy told the Abilene Reporter-News, "I really like Cleveland. I've always been a guy that wants to finish what he starts."
McCoy certainly has maintained the right attitude, even as he could be relegated to being backup or being shipped out of town altogether.
"Unfortunately, a lot of things are out of my control. The main thing for me is not to worry about those things I can't control." McCoy sid. I have to go in, do my job and have high character and compete my tail off, if the opportunity's available. Other than that, there's not much you can do. So that's what I try to do every day."
