Patriots players communicate with space station. Terry McCormick
A pair of New England Patriots got a little bit a "Jetsons" feel on Thursday, talking by video into outer space.
Patriots punter Zoltan Mesko and tight end Rob Gronkowski spoke by Skype to astronaut Sunita Williams on the international space station, according to the Boston Herald.
NASA coordinated the conversation between the Patriots players and Williams, who is a Needham, Mass., high school graduate from 1983.
Mesko joking asked Williams if she could see the Nor'easter from space, while Gronkowski, who wondered by Mesko and entered the conversation, asking Williams "if she was floating right now."
