Michael Vick has the rare distinction of being a quarterback that has earned two $100 million contracts with separate teams.

However, he finds himself with the Jets as a second-stringer at this stage of his career.

At age 33, Vick told the NFL Network that he feels he still has plenty of football left inside of him.

"I think, at times, it does hurt deep down that I'm not in that group (of the 32 starting QBs in the NFL)," Vick said. "Everything happens for a reason, and maybe it's time for me to just kind of sit back and kind of appreciate what I'm going through now to make me a better quarterback in the future."

You can bet that there will be a quarterback competition of some sort in New York when training camp rolls around. But it does seem that it's not necessarily an open one.

Geno Smith will enter camp as the starter. It appears Smith will have to lose the job more so than Vick taking it away.
