Michael Vick will start at quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday night against the New England Patriots, coach Chip Kelly announced.
And Nick Foles will start the second preseason game.
For this one, though, both Vick and Foles will see roughly 12 to 20 snaps in the first preseason game.
“I’ve never been in this situation before in my life,” Vick told reporters.. “I’ve been in positions where I’ve had to compete for a job coming out of college, but it’s never been this severe. But I’m just taking it in stride, man. I can’t control the future, I can’t predict the future. I can just control what I can control. I can’t do it all. I can’t to everything. But the one thing I’m gonna do is have fun.”
