It appears Aaron Rodgers is one step closer to returning to the football field.
On Thursday, Packers coach Mike McCarthy told reporters that Rodgers practiced well and hinted his chances of playing Sunday have improved.
"He looked sharp," McCarthy said, via the Milwaukee Journal Senitinel. "He looks better this week. He looks ready to play."
Rodgers has been recovering from a broken collarbone, which has taken longer to heal than expected. McCarthy said a starter for Sunday will be named on Friday.
