Minor knee scope scheduled for Chad Greenway

The Minnesota Vikings do not expect Chad Greenway to miss any time during training camp after he undergoes arthroscopic knee surgery on Wednesday.

The Pro Bowl linebacker did not have a known knee issue but coach Leslie Frazier announced Greenway would have the procedure today, meaning he will be sidelined for what remains of the offseason program.

He won't miss any training camp or anything like that," Frazier said, according to Tom Pelissero of 1500 ESPN. “Just wanted to get it done right now, rather than run into a situation where we get to camp and it continued to bother him and we had some issues we'd have to deal with that there.”

Greenway should be at full strength soon. He participated in the first two weeks of OTA’s but an MRI revealed enough to lead the team to schedule the scope.
