Cowboys playing it safe with 1st round pick Brad Biggs
The Dallas Cowboys took the precautionary step of sending Morris Claiborne for an MRI on his knee after a second practice on Friday.
The first-round draft pick has been experiencing soreness since Wednesday and the club wanted to have it checked out but coach Jason Garrett said he did not believe the situation was serious, according to David Moore of the Dallas Morning News.
“Our trainers really thought he had a little twinge there in his knee and thought it would be best to give him the afternoon off,” owner Jerry Jones said. “At this time we aren’t concerned.”
Hopefully, Claiborne will be back on the field soon.
