Murder-suicide leaves 2-month-old orphaned
Chiefs' Belcher, victim had daughter together. Terry McCormick
In perhaps the saddest twist on the whole Javon Belcher tragedy on Saturday morning, the Kansas City Star reports that Belcher and his girlfriend, whom he shot before killing himself, had a two-month old daughter together.
The identity of the woman has not yet been revealed, pending notification of family.
The sadness of this tragedy is unfathomable and now the reality that a two-month old child will have to grow up without either parent makes it even worse.
