Jackson punished for violating the NFL substance abuse policy Aaron Wilson
The San Diego Chargers confirmed the previously reported three-game suspension for wide receiver Vincent Jackson.
Jackson is being punished for violating the NFL substance-abuse policy. Specifically, he twice pleaded guilty to driving under the influence.
“Vincent Jackson of the San Diego Chargers has been suspended without pay for the first three games of the 2010 regular season for violating the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse," an NFL spokesman said. "Jackson’s suspension begins on Saturday, September 4. He will be eligible to return to the Chargers’ active roster on Monday, September 27 following the team’s September 26 game against the Seattle Seahawks. Jackson is eligible to participate in all preseason practices and games.”
Jackson is an unsigned restricted free agent who had been planning to hold out anyway.
"Obviously we’re disappointed," Chargers general manager A.J. Smith said in a statement. "Vincent made a mistake and now must deal with the consequences. It’s unfortunate, but we’ll deal with it and move on.”

Great information................
Sterling sliver jewelry, particularly bracelets, is a staple of fashionable women everywhere. This type of pandora beads is durable yet so beautiful. The versatility is outstanding; it goes with every outfit whether with jeans or with a designer gown. For instance, movie star Sandra Bullock wore a silver cuff bracelet to the 2009 MTV Movie Awards in May 2009. A silver cuff bracelet makes an audacious statement, yet it is lightweight and is flexible so that it can fit a variety of wrist sizes. Another popular type of bracelets is the silver charm bracelet. There are many shapes and designs for the charms that are attached to the bracelet.

Someone from NFP should look into the link between the Chargers team Doctor and PED use. Along with the long line of Charger's (and ex-Chargers) who have run into trouble, he was the Dr. for a certain bicyclist who may or may not have had his Tour de France title stripped. (hint, his last name rhymes with Pandis...) It just may make an interesting story.
