The NFL is officially investigating why Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed is not on the team's injury report with a shoulder injury.

League spokesman Greg Aiello told the Baltimore Sun that the NFL is "looking into it" after Reed revealed to a local radio station in Baltimore that he has been playing with a torn labrum.

The league fined the Buffalo Bills and Washington Redskins $20,000 each on Friday after their mishandling of injuries on Mario Williams and Robert Griffin III, respectively.
