NFL owners approved a proposed new collective bargaining agreement by a 31-0 vote today at the league meetings in Atlanta, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation.

The Oakland Raiders, as they have done many times in the past, abstained from voting. So, it wasn't technically unanimous.

Now, the NFL Players Association has yet to approve the CBA to finish the new labor deal. They are conducting a conference call tonight.

So, the football is now in their court.
