NFL adopted new overtime format for postseason Aaron Wilson
The NFL isn't expected to vote on expanding its modified overtime format for the regular season during this week's league meetings.
According to NFL.com, the official league website, there "doesn't seem to be enough interest" from the NFL owners.
So, a vote is unlikely Tuesday.
The NFL doesn't usually hold a vote unless there's a good chance for a proposal to pass.
They usually just table it until the next league meetings.
During the March league meetings, the owners voted to change the overtime rules for the postseason.
Cleveland Browns team president Mike Holmgren has said he was against changing the overtime rule.
