NFP power rankings

Here’s where things get very interesting.

With the country tuned in to one of the most highly anticipated Monday night games in recent memory, the Seattle Seahawks decimated the New Orleans Saints, 34-7. At the moment, the public’s perception of Seattle is at an all-time high, while some may now be questioning the overall quality of this Saints football team.

Now let’s look ahead to Week 14, where Seattle hits the road as a 3.5-point dog against San Francisco, while the Saints open up as a 4.5-point home favorite over red-hot Carolina.

Based on the public’s penchant for making wagers based off of what they just witnessed, it won’t come as a surprise to any Las Vegas bookmaker if Joe Square walks up to the counter next Sunday looking to play the Seahawks and Panthers.

Which is exactly why we’ll consider playing San Francisco and New Orleans.

The numbers in brackets indicate each team’s Power Ranking, which is based on a scale of 1-100. These numbers can be used as a baseline to determine the point spread between any two teams on the list. Keep in mind that these numbers do not account for home field advantage, situational analysis (extra rest, back-to-back road games, divisional rivalries, etc), injuries, weather or public perception. They are merely to be used as a baseline for your initial analysis.
