New England Patriots director of player personnel Nick Caserio has declined the Miami Dolphins' offer to become their new general manager, according to multiple reports.
Caserio opted to remain with the Patriots where he works for Patriots coach Bill Belichick.
By going for the interview, two interviews with the Dolphins actually, it shows that Caserio is willing to consider leaving the Patriots.
It's reasonable to wonder if Caserio got a raise in pay or more responsibilities by turning down the offer.
The Dolphins are also considering Dolphins assistant general manager Brian Gaine, Tennessee Titans vice president of player personnel Lake Dawson and Tampa Bay Buccaneers director of player personnel Dennis Hickey.
Cleveland Browns assistant general manager Ray Farmer has also pulled out of the running for the job.
