Those discipline issues and the Detroit Lions?
They just took another knock.
Nick Fairley, the first-round pick last year who was arrested last month in Mobile, Ala., and charged with possession of marijuana, has run afoul from the law again.
This time, Fairley has been arrested and charged with driving under the influence and attempting to elude police again in Mobile, Ala.
According to Fox10TV, Fairley was arrested after 1 a.m. this morning on Interstate 10. He posted $1,750 bond and was released at 9 a.m. He was also charged with reckless driving, no proof of insurance and possessing an open container of alcohol.
Fairley was the third Lions player from the 2010 draft to be arrested and charged with possession of marijuana this offseason. He is subject to discipline from the NFL.
